Underage gambling policy.

Wagering with palmerbat is strictly for adults. It is an offence for a person under 18 years of age to open an account or to place a wager, and an offence to open an account or wager on behalf of a minor.

Minimum age

You must be at least 18 years old and physically located in Australia to hold an account or place a wager. This requirement reflects the Betting and Racing Act 1998 (NSW) and applies without exception.

How we verify age

Age is confirmed through identity verification at account opening, using government-issued identity documents under the AML/CTF Act 2006 (Cth) — not by self-declaration or a tick-box. No wager is accepted until verification is complete. palmerbat may request further documentation at any time and may suspend activity pending the outcome.

Preventing access by minors

  • All marketing carries an 18+ message and is not directed at, or designed to appeal to, minors.
  • We support player-protection and content-filtering tools (for example, family-filter software) that help parents and guardians block access to gambling content.
